School closure - posted 1st Mar

Friday 2nd March: In light of the on-going wintry conditions and the forecast of potential snow and disruption, we have taken the decision to close the school. We are concerned about the snow fall on top of what is already icy conditions We hope that by making this decision early, it gives parents time to make arrangements for their childcare, if necessary We look forward to seeing you all back in school on Monday 5th March and hope you all stay safe and warm.

Year 6 Camp - posted 20th Jun

Our Year 6 children had a fantastic time at camp last week and what glorious weather they had!  They enjoyed activities such as cycling around Rutland water, water activities at Tallington Lakes, as well as high rope courses and abseiling!  Our thanks goes out to Mr Taylor and the other staff helpers who gave up their time to make it such a successful few days.

Road Safety Assembly - posted 5th Apr

Our assembly on road safety with all our visitors went very well this morning! People from Magpas were here and Louise Cade who used to attend our school with her sister Sally who sadly died after being hit by a car in 1994. The children were praised for their superb behaviour and attentiveness. There should be a short clip on ITV Anglia tonight at 6pm. If not it will be tomorrow at the same time.
